Do I have to bake the cake?
We bake the cakes at our bakery. All you need to do is enjoy!
What is the shelf life of the cake?
Cakes stored at room temperature (on your kitchen counter) or in the refrigerator stay fresh for 14 days from the day they are baked. You can also freeze our cakes (in the heavy duty freezing bag provided with every order) for up to 6 months. To defrost, simply open the freezer bag and let the cake rest on your counter for a few hours. It will taste as fresh as the day it was baked! Try it--you'll be amazed.
Are the cakes Dairy-Free?
Yes! Our cakes contain no milk proteins. They do contain egg. Please contact us with specific ingredient concerns.
Are the cakes Gluten-Free, Wheat-Free or Flourless?
Yes! All of our cakes are made without flour or wheat, and are completely Gluten Free! Please contact us with specific ingredient concerns.
Where can I buy your cakes?
You can buy our cakes online. If you are in the Boston-MetroWest area, you can also stop by our bakery!
Why is a mail order cake more expensive than the cake that I can purchase from your store?
When you purchase a cake from our bakery, there is no shipping charge involved. When you purchase a mail-order cake, you have the convenience of having the product delivered to your door. In addition, you are able to have cakes delivered on your behalf to a second party.
Mail-order cakes also require special protective packaging: reinforced cardboard, protective tin, etc.

How can I place an order?
You can place your order online, by telephone, or you can stop by our bakery.
Can I buy a gift certificate?
Of course! Simply contact us for more information.
Do I get a discount if I order more than 1 cake?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of discounts. When you order multiple cakes to be shipped to the same address at the same time, you receive discounted shipping rates; we offer corporate discounts to business customers who purchase more than 10 cakes per calendar year; for frequent mail order customers, who order more than 10 cakes per calendar year, we offer frequent buyer discounts.
But that's not all! We frequently offer seasonal promotions and special offers throughout the year. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter and like us on Facebook to ensure that you don't miss great deals!

Can I send a message/greeting along with my cake?
When checking out, you will be given the option of adding a personalized message/greeting to your order.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Online, we accept Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards. If ordering in-person at the bakery, or over the phone, we also accept checks or money orders. In the case of telephone orders, we will hold your order until we receive your payment in the mail.
How far in advance should I order for a holiday or special occasion?
Orders for holidays or for delivery during peak gift giving seasons (Like Christmas, Chanukah, Thanksgiving...) should be placed as far in advance as possible. To ensure for holiday delivery, we recommend ordering at least three weeks in advance.
If you would like to place an order for multiple gift recipients at one time, including corporate gifting, you can email us for a "gifting order template" which you can fax or email back to us.
What should I do if I'm having trouble placing an order online?

Shipping and Handling
How is my cake shipped?
All cakes are shipped using the most economical shipping option that will get your cake to its recipient within three business days of shipment. When a physical address is provided for shipping, cakes are shipped using Federal Express ground or 3-day select services. When a physical address is NOT provided (for example, when using a P.O. Box), cakes are shipped using the United States Postal Service. Packages shipped using the USPS are not insured, and we cannot guarantee deliveries. We therefore highly recommend that you provide a physical address for shipping. Orders for delivery to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico, are shipped using 2nd Day Air service (and require an additional charge). Orders to Canada are shipped using Federal Express Canadian Ground Service (and require an additional charge). If you are interested in shipping a cake to Canada please contact us for details.
What is the cost of shipping?
We've created a simple to follow pricing chart that outlines the cost of shipping our cakes to your specific location.
Can I request faster shipping?
Yes. You will be given the option to upgrade your shipping options for an additional charge when completing your order. If you are interested in overnight or Saturday delivery, please contact us. Please refer to our pricing chart for complete details.
Can I use a P.O. Box for delivery?
Yes. We will ship cakes to a P.O. Box using the United States Postal Service.
Do you ship internationally?
Shipping to international addresses can be arranged using FedEx international Shipping or the USPS Global Services. If you are interested in this service, please call or e-mail us.
Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
Yes. We will ship cakes to APO/FPO addresses using the United States Postal Service. We cannot track packages or guarantee deliveries.
Is an invoice shipped with the cake? I don't want my recipient knowing how much I spent!
You do not need to worry. We do not include pricing information on the invoices sent with your cake.
I want to make sure my cake is delivered on a specific day. How do I do that?
We can advise of approximate delivery dates based on the selected shipping date, but cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. For more information on estimated delivery dates, please refer to our shipping information sheet. If you would like to set up a specific shipping date, please contact us to place your order.
What do I do if I received a damaged cake?
Please contact us immediately with the details.
What do I do if I ordered a cake, but never received it?
Cakes usually take no more than 3 business days to arrive, from the day they were shipped. If this time has elapsed, you should feel free to contact us.
